Some DS3 touchscreens have the Carplay Icon already and some don't. As long as you have a touchscreen in your DS3 it car play compatible. If you already have the car play icon you may also see this message "The Apple CarPlay function is not available on your system , you can acquire it from your DS dealer" We can also activate Car play in this case.
